Although this amp lacks the valves of the 667 that Kirk uses, it comes pretty close to the same sounds.

Gain for days and lots of sound shaping abilities with the tone switch. The first gain mode- the ‘vintage Kirk’ setting- is a good sound if you’re after the earlier style Metallica.
