Flavia. Was really pleased to see they have almond milk and matcha options. Set within the Young Vic's award winning building and minutes from Tate Modern, Old Vic Theatre, The Southbank and Southwark and Waterloo Stations. At this point I was very full but, of course, I couldn't pass up dessert. A couple of the tables, when fully occupied at the same time, are not distanced enough and this could be resolved by removing one or two seats from the back corner table. Surprisingly good, although I did struggle with the menu initially, which doesn't conform to the more familiar starters/mains/dessert scenario. Again, all good. Incredible. The balcony was also really nice to eat at and made everything feel so wonderful. A bit bizarre but it was delicious nonetheless. Are you sure you want to delete this answer? We shared a new sweet on the menu which was described as a snickers-style choc with Nutella ice cream. It was a pleasure welcoming you to CUT Out and we are all delighted to read that...More, Amazing food! The deep-fried goats cheese with honey is absolutely exquisite. To ensure no stone was left unturned, dessert was Crème Brûlée. The Bar is open from 9am till late. We had early reservations, and when we entered the lobby of the 45 Park Lane, we were greeted by a gentleman in a suit. Seriously interesting gins and good food. I am also very happy to read it was a successful evening. We were made to feel like respected, returning patrons, though we had never dined there before. i'm sure if you email them or phone them they could answer. Domaine Marc Roy Vieilles Vignes Gevrey-Chambertin ‘15
Inside it was rather noisier, with a bare floor and not very good acoustics, but then it isn't exactly the right venue if you're looking for intimate conversation. It’s the extra touches that really count. If you are a resident of another country or region, please select the appropriate version of Tripadvisor for your country or region in the drop-down menu.
During the holidays you might have to fight with a small child for a seat, which is a bit much to handle but apart from that, I'd say it's one of the best options in the area.
Just such good quality and presentation. (to be sung to the tune of ABBA's Waterloo)If you are looking for a place to go for a cheeky cocktail, you could do a lot worse than The Cut Bar. My colleague opted for the 5 tapas - all beautifully presented (see pictures). adding 12% service charges automatically. It was categorised by meat/veg/fish, some of which were starters or available in smaller portions, and alternatively there was an interesting choice of tapas, 3 for £11.50 or 5 for £18.50 (see pictures). They also have really tasty bar snacks. It's a cute bar that is nice for a quick drink before a show or in our case, a visit to the BFI IMAX. The team and I hope to welcome you back soon on...More, Been here quite a few times, always really enjoyed. Get quick answers from CUT at 45 Park Lane staff and past visitors. My friend and I ate here last night. He asked if we were guests, and I explained that no, we were just dining at CUT for the first time. It is said that on theatre nights, you would be hard pressed to get a table here, but on a regular Friday night, when I visited with the friend who recommended it, business was steady, though not overwhelming.
The food was amazing and my goodness Aimee is a superstar, she suggested amazing...dishes and drinks. It has a great atmosphere to meet with friends but I wouldn't really recommend the food. Have to give special mention to our brilliant waitress Bertha. It was only when a friend suggested it for a girly catch-up dinner that I realised it was a restaurant and not just a theatre bar. Smaller friendly dogs are also welcome in the bar at less busy times. Also, if you don't enjoy standing all night, I would avoid going during any production press night, as about 70% of the seating gets reserved for the press, plus the whole upstairs gets cordoned off.
All very good. I am glad that I went light on my Main Course, as we had so very much food, and especially as my wife insisted on sharing some of her Dover Sole. If they reviewed the smoking policy and ensured distancing (back tables) I would definitely return.More, Dear Int_traveller100 Quite an experience. If you have any questions then please email me on nicolai@thecutbar,com First off, we ordered the pulled pork burger off the tapas menu...and we received 1 burger! I started with the Sea Bass Ceviche, a chilled starter of diced fish in a lime, coconut and coriander dressing. Quite a small cut but still plentiful and melt in the mouth. Delicious, healthy food made with care and from quality ingredients.
This was lucky as the place feels bigger than it actually is, helped by the clever double height ceiling and mezzanine upper floor. .css-1o5pw2t{width:24px;height:24px;display:inline-block;vertical-align:middle;position:relative;overflow:hidden;top:-0.1em;fill:rgba(187,186,192,1);}.css-1o5pw2t::before{position:absolute;display:block;left:0;}.css-1o5pw2t::after{content:'';display:block;position:absolute;left:0;right:0;top:0;bottom:0;}.css-1o5pw2t svg{position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;fill:inherit;display:block;left:0;top:0;right:0;bottom:0;}.css-1o5pw2t:hover,.css-1o5pw2t:focus{fill:rgba(117,114,128,1);}. which was a lovely touch. Set within the Young Vic's award winning building and minutes from Tate Modern, Old Vic Theatre, The Southbank and Southwark and Waterloo Stations. I recommend the Hazy Daze...beer. I opted for the USDA Prime Filet (6oz), which was prepared to a perfect medium-rare, and very flavorful. The staff were especially attentive to our needs and were very polite.
But a sour taste also left by a snide additional charge for extra bread (couple of quid tacked onto a cheque of c.£500 for two). just completely unmasked. I have walked past the place on my way to work for the last couple of weeks and really wanted try it. I've eaten at The Cut a few times, and the food is delicious. This place has it all. The iced chai latte was amazing. I loved how every staff member from the door, to reception and into the restaurant were super professional and smiley. Vegetarian Friendly, Gluten Free Options, Vegan Options, Reservations, Outdoor Seating, Seating, Wheelchair Accessible, Serves Alcohol, Full Bar, Table Service. And a great atmosphere! CUT is located on the ground floor of a lovely boutique hotel, 45 Park Lane, which was just steps from where we were staying for most of this trip. Had a fried oyster on it.
The food?
Twice, the hotel manager stopped by the table, to inquire how the meal was going, and asking if we needed anything.

While we might still not be steakhouse people, CUT made a grand impression on both of us, and as we almost always stay in Mayfair (2-4 times per year), we will definitely be returning. I also noticed the runner bringing all the food out to the Terrence, he actually has a noticeable good posture :)More, Dear Miss L A It was a pleasure welcoming you to CUT! This time I had the deep-fried halloumi, which was absolutely fantastic, and the soup of the day - butternut squash and coconut - which was also lovely. He asked if we were guests, and I explained that no, we were just dining at CUT for the first time. Very friendly waitress and lovely food. Have to give special mention to our brilliant waitress Bertha. Steaks are superb; sides excellent; wine very good and reasonably priced for this kind of restaurant. This is a fine place for lunch. Nicely done, with the novelty of being served in a teacup, rather than the more ubiquitous ramekin, and came with a home made cinnamon shortbread. This was an excellent dining experience.More, Dear The_Loup_Garou Then had dessert and another beer after the show and they had remembered that we were just having desserts and laid table/menu accordingly (nice touch). Their chips may be twice fried but they're still a little dissapointing. Had an amazing dinner here on Saturday night. We had the chocolate fondant and sticky toffee for pudding; not enough clotted cream with the latter but tasty. Wandered in looking for coffee and stayed for a quick bite as so many places in London seem to open fairly late in the day. The Jewellery Cut is opening up a fresh dialogue about design, adornment, gemstones and craftsmanship. I started with the Sea Bass Ceviche, a chilled starter of diced fish in a lime, coconut and coriander dressing. When I couldn’t finish my dinner, they kindly (And with CARE) packed up our leftovers to go and gave us some chocolates as well. Mgmt clearly some way off even beginning to grasp the new normal. Again, wow. The food?
The freshly brewed tea was delicious but hardly enough to redeem themselves. It's a bit pricey but it's one of the best haircuts I've had in a while and I'm usually a bit skeptical about trying new barbers. The noise level, though the dining room was filled, was moderately low. For “dessert,” we did a glass each of the Blandy’s 15 year Malmsey Madeira and the Fonseca 20 year Tawny Port - we were stuffed!
