Start your review of The Botanist. Tomatoes and the Burrata with Isle of Wight tomatoes, avacado, and chili were also good but the tomatoes could have been riper; the service more attentive; the bar less drafty from the entry door; and the restroom cleaner. They then informed us that our food order didn’t go through and that we would have to wait for the food order to be made; an hour after we originally ordered. Johnny L. Olympia, United States. It's a little like someone blended all the members of Mumford and Sons in a big industrial mixer, sprayed what came out of that mixer into an empty storage space and waited for it to grow. Charity donation is placed on the bill without notice.

I even like that the kitchen area appears to be caged in.With a range of real ales around the £3.50 mark, and other beers slightly more, it didn't feel like it'd price too many folk out - but that's based on an initial glance, I only had a half before food, so I can't be sure of all the drink costs. The decor is really interesting and you feel like you're in a greenhouse (you can even have drinks in watering cans and jam jars!). I always think it´s interesting when a producer of some kind of good beverage gives it a try on gin. Thank you so much for leaving us feedback regarding your recent visit with us.

We just stuck to the bar menu since we had only eaten a few hours earlier. Although mostly recognised for their whiskey’s, the Bruichladdich Distillery in the Scottish Isle of Islay has produced what can only be described as a brilliant gin in The Botanist. The gin includes a huge 31 botanicals in total, 22 of which are locally foraged on the island of Islay. Best selection of beers. 4-5 TownHall Buildings, Farnham GU9 7ND England. The atmosphere was very calm and great to chill and relax after a long day sightseeing. I had a classic cocktail (Sazerac) which was similarly weak, improperly served on the rocks (they could have at least asked), and completely missing its key ingredient (absinthe). Brioche bun, dripping patty, excellent cheese, and yummy salsa stuff in a pot. I really love the hamburgers that they have there, and also the beautiful insect animal photos on the wall! Thank you very much for your positive feedback about your visit. We were extremely disappointed with this situation, made worse by the fact we were not offered any compensation by the restaurant. Although they knocked them off the bill it was very disappointing. Sorry I would have no idea, I would like think well behaved youngsters could so long as they kept off the alcohol ! This is not...More, Having received a Christmas Voucher for this place we also decided to take advantage of the 25 percent reduction on food during September on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Drinks a bit pricey but food very reasonable so balances out.More, Went with my wife for a late lunch. We all kept raving about the food -- it was fresh and cooked to perfection. Really enjoy the cocktails in the Botanist. Good spot for a few pints and appetizers.Mains are spotty at best.Dinner meeting with a party of 5 and we were ALL disappointed so this is not coincidence. Also extremely LOUD for a dinner venue. Elite '2020. you won't be disappointed. Time went on and it got to 7:15pm when we really did ask how much longer the food would be as we needed to leave with plenty of time to make it to the match which is a 10 min walk away. fully happy so collectively one of our best meals of the year which says something as we are now in the autumn months. It's got a great selection of gin and cocktails, although some are overly fussy.

A cozy place perfect for sipping champagne, cocktails, or grabbing a bite to eat. The manager Kate served us and she was very helpful and friendly and gave some great recommendations. This place is always crowded, so if you're coming for a meal - book a table. The inside bar area is usually packed.

I've been in here before on a couple of occasions to drink, but today was my first time for food, and it wasn't disappointing. Les serveurs étaient très aimables.
