The dance theatre production of Terrain illustrates issues associated with care for the environment. The piece showcased in 2012 at the Melbourne Arts Centre. Split into nine distinct sections, the piece explores the relationship between Aboriginal people and the land they inhabit. This section looks at Aboriginal people’s sense of ‘calling’ to ‘go to country’.

Within Bangarra, and many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lives, there is a confronting duality; the balance of ancient and contemporary.
