The food was spectacular and the staff were friendly and made our time their special. My husband and I have visited Bistro C many times over the last couple of years but I would not go back again. This time the flavours were certainly full and ever present however our one issue was that all of our food- entrees and mains, were all more warm rather than hot which was rather disappointing.. the only ‘hot’ food was fries that we indulgently and unnecessarily added to our meal.A saving grace was that my partner elected and ordered a blue steak but when his arrived, it was more m-w done; he’s not a complainer and was going to let it go. The manager was quite abrupt when he informed us that we ‘had only booked yesterday!’ He said that he would let us know if another table became available which he did when we had finished our meal.
Stall were all very welcoming and the service top notch. The food was mouth watering and the cocktails sensational. 3 of us had eye fillet sitting on a roti of potato.
Best bistro in Queensland. Bistro C is available for weddings, cocktail parties, functions and events, and can create a beautiful setting for a beachside cocktail party, to an informal business breakfast. Huge entrees make the rest of the meal uncomfortable. Highly recommended. Buzzy and busy beachfront restaurant with appealing menu. A lesiurely, delicious birthday lunch. Everything was great except couldn’t hear each other speak as a noisy table next to us with ladies.. Maybe don’t cramp in tables to close to each other as I couldn’t move from another chair with a man sitting in it was right up against my chair Besides from that everything else was great.
