Being up that high made me slightly dizzy so we appreciated sitting on the floor (would be nice if there were benches or some type of cool chair to let you enjoy the view longer). Graphics show how the building is linked to the city's transport system, showing the lifts moving inside the building and the trains running underneath in real time.
There are also stairs on the right side leading to a bar on that floor as well.

My only complaint is the top of it looks like someone broke it off and left it like that. Pass holders can benefit from Priority Lane entry. The 31st to 33rd floors are dedicated to restaurants. We recommend booking The View from The Shard tours ahead of time to secure your spot. My favorite view was definitely the view of Tower Bridge.... it is such a beautiful landmark. So why not 5*?!
The descending lifts feature similar effects, using multimedia to create the effect of the sky receding, the seasons changing, and the streets of London coming into focus. After that's done, you'll head up two different elevators (one stops and then they'll switch you to a different one). The Shard offers a multitude of corporate, entertainment and dining facilities.
My advice is to buy the all inclusive ticket, it's the best bang for your buck!

Grab a glass of something delicious to drink at the bar as you survey up to 40 miles over London and the Thames from the city’s best vantage point. We would also recommend the raspberry cocktail. I loved being to look down onto the courtyard of the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge and even the London Eye in the distance. I was told to come back tomorrow and explain the situation to customer service and they might be able to let me in. Be sure to take a good camera and try to get there early.

If I could chose again, I don’t think I’d have bothered, it’s actually quite hard to drink enough champagne to justify the extra cost in such little time, though with the help of the absolutely lovely bar woman, I believe she was called Sofia, we gave it our best shot, but it’s only £14 a glass so if you think you’ll only have 1 or 2, just do that.

What's not spectacular are the prices for drinks and shit at Aqua Shard. You are then sitting on top of London. Once at the top, we grabbed a beer and sat on the floor to enjoy the view. I love how flexible the tickets were because you can go any time and is not a set time which is hard for visitors like me. Do you need to book in advance to visit The View from The Shard? A limited number of tickets can be purchased from the attraction on the day for £30.95 (adult) and £24.95 (child).

I took my wife and niece for happy hour and just getting basic drinks cost a fucking mint.
Not crowded when I went at sunset (the best time to go, see day, sunset and nigh time lights). Fortunately it was a fairly clear day so we could easily see all the way to the horizon. Some can even call The Shard their home, as floors 53 to 65 are occupied by residential apartments. Plus, an evening departure time means you’ll experience London at its most mysterious. Awesome views from two separate floors including a top open air deck where you can feel and heat the wind pressure on this level.
