Any description of the Ranch can not begin to explain how horrible this place is. I give the lobby and the staff five stars. I thought the pillows were fairly comfortable. The Ranch is The Ranch, plain and simple. We drove to town every day as the walk to town is longer than we desire. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay here at the Harbor Hotel. Overall this place did the job and we would probably go back if another deal came up. The fire pit out front was enticing but was the only area that seemed to allow smoking (and it was full of smokers) so we avoided it.
If you get a double room it is a little tight and there isn't a desk or table.
The "rooms" are nothing more than a tired, old, worn out bed with little else. There is a fire pit out front and a pool with a cabana. We had a loud child one day that was very noisy.
I've been staying here for well over 5 years. Stay away. The mini refrigerator was a nice size and they provide a Keurig coffee maker. The beds were just ok as I think they were a little old since they dipped down in the center a bit. There are no hangers in the room but you can request some. I have no problem with the sleaze factor at the Ranch but $160 a night for hot, stuffy, uncomfortable room invested with bed bugs! We love when you come see us in Ptown! Beautiful views, ocean is right across street. They are extremely pet friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. So the place is like a supermodel but after a night of rough partying. The board is really an introduction to others in the house and an ice breaker to talk to people. All I can say is you gotta see her to believe it! Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch is 7 minutes’ walk away.
