I applaud the people that run the place and the calibe of some off the acts,but for me the acoustics,seating and general layoutoff the theatre does not do it for me as the the premier show theatre in town.I have attended a few shows/acts and am happywith the prices. We have been here several times, they have good artists on and the building is also used for other activities such as plays, dramas, brass bands. The acoustics and audience were brilliant (on the quite parts of the gig, you could hear a pin drop, unlike 229 Venue the night before). (We didn't try the food or any other facilities).We would thoroughly recommend The Berkeley guest house (just a 9 minute walk away) which was homely, squeaky clean and did a fantastic breakfast. I provide bespoke menus based on a Caribbean cuisine influence.
