I had the octopus starter where the pickes pop on your tastebuds, the lamb main the flavour of which makes you think you’ve never had lamb before, and Peter Gilmour’s famous cherry jam lamington for dessert which just makes you want another portion immediately. The decor is dated and boring with little character. It’s not what you think! I was sad that i was only given 2 options of non-alcoholic mocktails (i dont drink), and usually, upmarket restaurants do provide cool options for when people do not drink. A most amazing lunch and the attention to detail was . The golden glow of the lamps complements the new brass tones throughout the interior detailing and set the ambiance for the restaurant whilst concealed up-lighting highlights the dramatic ribs of the concrete shells.
There’s no extras that you should expect from a fine dining experience. Address. Though pricey, the dishes were outstanding and well worth it!

Booked the Counter at Bennelong Cured and Cultured for my wife’s birthday. There are a lot of dining options for pre-Opera House shows, & this is at the more expensive end, but nothing comes close to the quality of the food & experience here, making it the best value option by far in our opinion.

As an appetizer into what you get here, one of our dishes included golden rain drops of a lemon jam concoction that were artfully placed on delicate leaves atop a perfect half sphere of a most delicate & sublime flavour collection of salad ingredients. I would recommend this option as a cheaper alternative to the standard plated meal in the dining room.
Knew it would be expensive, but service and food were not worth that much. of wine. My wife and I will definitely be returning. It was wonderful!
It is not a low cost restaurant but you are getting a world class experience.
AMEX, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Visa. The fish was cooked to perfection. It is therefore highly likely that this restaurant will be remodelled in the future. Their service was exceptional, staff were attentive and always offered service with a smile. We had three courses from the a la carte menu, accompanied by house made bread and butter, side salad and seasoned potatoes. Loved every minute and every mouthful. We have enjoyed pre-show dinners here on a number of occasions, & the only time we go anywhere else (Aria do a very good pre-show dinner as a back up option) is because we can't get a booking. Our disappointment was in the nice, but not spectacular food. Location good food was good not excellent.The service was terrible for the price of this restaurant the ambiance was very kaotic and cold.For these prices the waiters should be much more personable and way more attentive.

Service is impeccable. One entree was partially dropped on the floor just as it was being served, but they recovered nicely and had a replacement within 3-5 min.
